The Hartford Hawks will travel to William H. Pete Center to face the Sacred Heart Pioneers on Wednesday afternoon at College Basketball.


The Hartford Hawks lost their third game in a row and fell to 1-10 of the season after losing to the Central Connecticut Blue Devils, 75-65, last Saturday. The Sacred Heart Pioneers dropped to 4-8 on the season after being defeated by the UMass Lowell River Hawks, 70-62, last Sunday. Sacred Heart struggled in the offensive end against UMass Lowell and was unable to respond after River Hawks led 66-62 with 1:52 remaining in the standings.


 Sacred Heart shot only 37.3% from the field and 26.9% from outside the arc while allowing UMass Lowell to fire 48.0% from the field and 54.5% from outside the arc. Nico Gallet was up front for the Hawks with 13 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals.
