COVID-19: Canadian officials advise against gathering and traveling within Canada for holidays due to the spread of Omicron
Health Minister Jean-Yves Duclos and Chief Public Health Officer Dr Theresa Tam said their advice on how to stay safe Canadians over the holidays amid concerns about the spread of the Omicron COVID-19 variant. Duclos said Canadian people should be "more vigilant" when traveling outside Canada and advised all people to keep gatherings small and travel within Canada.
